● Bernelli University begins online courses, linking hundreds of graduate students
worldwide.

● The BiZZmobile, a 35ft mobile classroom featuring “hands on” business
for children is launched after 8 years in development as a prototype educational tool.
2003
● $300,000 grant funding received to expand entrepreneurship learning
programs for children.
● Family Firm Institute Barbara Hollander Award for Contributions to the
Family Business Field

● Television series expand to Malaysia , and Cable in the Classroom,
reaching 80,000 schools.
● Silver Angel Award for 13 part educational television series.
2001
● Television series The BuZZ with Dr. Cindy premiers on Stars Encores
children’s channel, WAM.
● Family Firm Institute named Dr. Cindy one of 100 “Fellows” worldwide in recognition
for accomplishments.

● Training center opens in Italy .

● Training center opens in Pittsburgh
● Two additional books launched.

● Television series development begins with a $1 million initiative.

● Business camps for children expand to world wide locations.

● BiZZbee is born as a mascot for the first entrepreneurial learning programs
for children as young as three years old.
● Lectures begin at the Wharton Business School and in executive educational
programs across the USA .

● First study tour with women business owners to Italy .
● Exchange program with University of Trento , School of Economics begins.
● First books on developing entrepreneurial skills for children are produced.
● Leavey Award for summer camp program, from the Freedoms Foundation.
● Educators Award, from the National Federations of Independent Business.

● First business camp for children offered.
● David Award for Leadership in Business, Italian Sons and Daughters of
Chicago .

● First study tour to Italy with executives.
● $50,000 grant awarded to produce video of dissertation research.
